Good morning, everyone.
I have been informed by Elizabeth Alvarez that the item for Z2023000259 ("JCC Rezoning" ) for 5/14 has been moved to the 6/11 Community Zoning Advisory Board (CZAB) meeting. The 5/14 meeting still shows active on the SelfService calendar and the county website. I sent a message this morning to inquire why the item is still listed and cancellation notices were not sent.

All,
The item for 2023-259 still shows on the SelfService calendar for 5/14. My understanding is that this meeting has been moved to 6/11.
C an you please have someone update the website and send out notices to those who have subscribed to status updates? The sign-in sheets show 56 people from the 4/23 meeting who were told that the issue would be on the agenda for the 5/14 meeting. There were numerous complaints and inquiries as to why no notification was sent when it was determined that there was no quorum for the 4/23 meeting. IMO, that is what the Zoning Hearing Status Update subscription is for.
You're going to have a lot of people show up for no reason (again) because the change was not communicated properly. I'm sure you can see how having two meetings with active schedules creates confusion.
On a separate related issue, I am subscribed for email, text message, and phone calls. I received an email notification for the 6/11 meeting, but no text and no phone call.
