County staff confirmed in writing on Oct 13 that the Greater Miami Jewish Federation pulled its appeal of the Alper JCC rezoning (Z2023000259) from the October 22 County Commission agenda in late September. Because the item was pulled, the county did not run the newspaper ad, mail the half-mile notices, or post the property for that date.
The June 11 zoning board denial still stands. No new Commission hearing date has been announced, and we’ll keep watching for one and for proper notice when it’s set.
